Choosing the ZX6R was easy.

I started my career on a Kawasaki H2 750, two stroke, way back in 1975 and I have had green in my blood ever since.

It has been lightly modified to suit my riding style and doesn't have the expensive extra bits that the top riders need to split the tenths of a second between pole and sixth in qualifying.

Even with out the trick bits the ZX6R cranks out over a hundred horsepower at the rear wheel, enough to stay with everyone except the factory teams.

The front forks have been gold valved with .95kg springs fitted to deal with my size. Last year I ran the standard rear shock but will upgrade to an Ohlins this years with a suitable spring.

I must like the Kawasaki better that the Honda I rode in 1999 as I have gone faster at every track I have ridden this year, except for Phillip Island where it was exceptionally windy.
